Bursting into flames
The fire began in the dark forest in the Canadian area, there was no one to be seen, actually there was nothing you could see except the blazing fire shooting through the children's eyes, seeing nothing but fire. The mother’s the father’s the children and their pets all evacuating from their buildings, their clothes their belongings all burst into ashes. There was around about 80,000 people from the oil city of fort McMurray.
There are still thousand of people still stuck in the middle of the north city, and their evacuation is still to occur. Hot, dry and windy conditions are hampering efforts by hundreds of firefighters to equip the blaze. “In no way at all was this fire under control” pronounced Alberta Premier Rachel Notley. The wild fire now covers more than 200,000 hectares which includes areas still ablaze and areas that are already burnt.
The fire is becoming so rough, double the size of Auckland city. Did you know that 1,600 homes and other buildings have been burnt but no dead bodies or injuries have been reported.
