A Staple Rice

...Delicious Rice…

Rice is well known to many people all over the world especially in Asia or Africa. Rice is so important because it helps feed a lot of people with big families. Many people say that Rice is a symbol of life and fertility, which is why rice was traditionally around  many weddings. But why is rice invented on earth?
Well it goes like this. Rice is the second highest worldwide production after maize (corn). Since maize is mostly grown for purposes other than human consumption, rice is the most important grain for human consumption. There are more than 40,000 varieties of rice that grow on every continent except on Antarctica.

The traditional method for cultivating rice is flooding the fields while, or after, setting the young seedlings. This simple method requires sound planning and servicing of the water damming and channeling, but reduces the growth of less robust weed and pest plants that have no submerged growth state.

The important thing about rice is that it is an illustrative comparison between white and brown rice of protein quality, mineral, and vitamin quality. Fat quality suggests that neither is a complete nutrition source. Between the two, there is a significant difference in fiber content and minor differences in other nutrients.
